GT3 racing in Redline - Payback to the community

Toad and myself had many fantastic races and great moments with this community, so we set up the first Redline-Transcontinental-US-Switzerlandish-Championship organization of the world.

The result will be up to you... We hope this tournament will be a blast of fun and a great challenge for all the racers that may participate.

The idea started after a GT3 race with the fellow sim-racers of redline we had and Toad and Alphonse were on Teamspeak - both stating that it will be a blast to have a tournament like SeeFlat's RLTCC. As there was (and is) much development for Redline Plug-Ins and especially GT3 cars and wonderful tracks - we decided not to start on X-mas 2008 but to postpone the tournament until we have some more (final) cars and tracks.

 

As time went by we have february now and the tournament will start in March 2009. 7 Races on 7 different tracks on the available GT3 cars will be held.

As we tend to be lazy and therefore build up on things that already worked (reinvention of the wheel not one of the targets - you get it, i guess) we pretty much adapted the tournament structure and know-how of SeeFlat's RLTCC.

We would like to thank all for the good wishes and before-it-started-compliments. We hope to just bring something back to the community, as we both are not programming tracks, cars, or any other stuff for redline we try to do what we hope we can...

As the GT3 Championship will be invitational there will be some players in - and some probably not. If we know you from allday-racing chances for being in are pretty good - just register yourself now and see how it turns out...
